WHAT'S IN A NAME?
During some of the darkest days of World War II, the strength of allies and the courage of men and women around the world triumphed over hatred. Allied Cockpit Equipment or ACE was created by two men, one from Great Britain and the other from the United States, both simmers and keen on all things aviation.
The hobbyist took their greatest ideas and developed simple, easy-to-use, affordable and high-quality peripherals for flight sim pilots around the world. Did they win a great World War? Absolutely not! Have the come together to make the flight simulation community a little bit easier to enjoy? Yes, they did!

Simon is a creative and engineering guru who just happens to have advanced degrees in electrical engineering. Did we mention, he also is a retired commercial pilot, flight instructor and test pilot? So, retired, real-world pilot Simon Grainger lives is the UK and develops incredible new methods to design and build flight simulation peripherals that don't break the bank, are high quality and take little-to-no training to set up.

When you connect an ACE Flight Simulation product to your local computer, turn it on and the drop in frame rate is non-existent...You need to thank Simon! He has developed a way to take the load off of your computer's gpu and let the ACE components do the work. Want to know how? Sorry, some things we have to keep a secret!

He and his family enjoy theatre, culture and spending quality time together and is a motorcycle road racing nut!! That is when he isn't creating new ideas or flying around in X-Plane and MSFS2020!

An aviation nut from basically the day he was born, Tony and his father would arrive a little bit early at the Frontier Airlines' gates in Denver, Colorado at Stapleton International Airport in the late 1970s.
​
He took his love of aviation to school and before he was in third grade he was flying in Microsoft's first flight simulator in 1981! Since then, he has been flying screen jets, attending airshows and has become a bit of a digital marketing pro.
​
Tony is now tasks with building the Allied Cockpit Equipment brand, collaborating on new products and working closely with his partner across the pond.
​
Of course, when he isn't busy branding or marketing ACE, he loves to fly in both X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator as well as design custom liveries and blog on his personal flight simmer website, BRAVO737.
